Addressing a campaign on 'Every last Child' by 'Save the Children', an NGO for child rights, Naidu said government will take feedback from the organisation to ensure the interests of children are incorporated in the smart city planning.
"We will ensure that the interests of the children are at the core of our plans and designs. I have already given instructions to all our planners in this regard," the Union Urban Development minister said.
He said in order to ensure the safety of girl child, 4.17 lakh toilets have been built across all the girls' schools in the country.
"After the Prime Minister's call, the Centre, State, Urban local body with Panchayat Raj institutions together, we have built 4.17 lakh toilets in all the girls schools across the country," Naidu said.
