liquor were seized from two cars here today by the Excise department.
The seizure was effected in Sarafabad village, District Excise Officer Kuldeep Yadav said, adding that the car drivers managed to fled from the spot.
Yadav said that 24 cartons of foreign liquor and 18 cartons of country liquor were recovered by the excise department team.
A hunt has been launched to nab the absconding smugglers, he added.
