Hip-hop star Snoop Dogg has issued an apology to rapper Iggy Azalea for poking fun her appearance after her mentor TI stepped in to urge him to end their was of words.
Azalea first took issue with Snoop Dogg after he made light of the 'Fancy' hitmaker's make-up free looks in a "mean" Instagram snap, reported Ace Showbiz.
But her response only made the 42-year-old singer up his online attack and he continued to mock her in a series of further posts.
He also appeared to threaten her in a nasty Instagram video.
Azalea, who is dating Los Angeles Lakers basketball player Nick Young, fired back at the profanity-laden clip with a lengthy post on her blog, which she concluded by insisting, "I will be the bigger man in this situation and leave it be."
The heated dispute prompted Azalea's friend TI to intervene and he managed to convince Snoop Dogg to put an end to the feud and apologise.
Snoop shared the news with fans in a new Instagram video and although it's clear who he's talking about, he does not mention Azalea by name.
In the post, he says, "Boys and girls, I just got off the phone with my homeboy TI, the king of Atlanta, and it's officially over.
"No more bad talk, I apologise. Yeah, I apologise, I'm sorry, I won't do it again."
Accepting the apology on Twitter, Azalea wrote, "I appreciate the apology Snoop Dogg... Let that be that people, time to focus on the positive things I've got going on. No time to dwell on the negative.
