The "Young, Wild & Free" hitmaker will receive the award on Saturday, September 17 during the taped event at the Cobb Energy Performing Centre in Atlanta, reported Aceshowbiz.
Hosted by DJ Khaled, the annual awards show will air on BET on October 4. Among those who are expected to perform at the show include T.I., Gucci Mane, Travis Scott (II), Young Thug, Desiigner, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Yachty, 21 Savage, Big Baby D.R.A.M. And Dae Dae.
Presenters for the 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards, meanwhile, include "Empire" star Bryshere Y Gray and rapper Shameik Moore.
Other nominees include Future, DJ Khaled, Kanye West, Anderson .Paak, Bryson Tiller, Chance the Rapper, Desiigner and Tory Lanez.
