The 42-year-old actress was dressed in a strapless, floral embroidered gold dress accessorized with matching Neil Lane jewels - including a serpent bangle with gold and colored gems, a large citrine diamond, and platinum earrings, reported People magazine.
The ceremony came just hours after Vergara and her ex-husband, Nick Loeb, 39, squared off on dueling morning talk shows about the battle over their frozen embryos.
Vergara's "Modern Family" co-stars Julie Bowen, Ed O'Neill and Eric Stonestreet were also in attendance at the ceremony.
"It is such an honor to be given this recognition," Vergara posted on her website about receiving the 2,551st plaque on the walkway.
