CPI-M led LDF Opposition members in Kerala continued their protest against the Congress-led UDF government over the solar scam in the Assembly today, leading to early adjournment of the House.

LDF opposition, which stalled the proceedings of the House yesterday over the issue, took up the matter through a submission moved by leader of Opposition V S Achuthanandan.

Achuthanandan wanted the Labour Minister Shibu Baby John to name the persons behind the allegations of Biju Radhakrishnan, prime accused in the solar scam.

Yesterday, John, against whom charges were made by Biju Radhakrishan before the Judicial Commission probing the Solar scam, had stated that "he knew who prompted Biju Radhakrishnan to level charges against him".

"I have not seen or talked to both Biju Radhakrishnan and Saritha S Nair, another accused in the case", John said, adding he would array himself as a respondent in the Solar case before the Commission to bring the persons behind the conspiracy.

However, Johan refused to say anything more on the matter even though LDF members demanded to name the persons behind the conspiracy and moved to the well of the House in protest.

With LDF uproar continuing, Speaker N Sakthan announced the adjournment of the House for the day.

Biju Radhakrishan,a co-accused in the sensational solar scam along with his accomplice Saritha S Nair, had allegedly cheated several persons by offering 'Solar panel solutions' by floating a company titled 'Team Solar'.

The duo allegedly canvassed business by using high-level names including that of Oommen Chandy.
