"I want to know why she is against CBI probe," Mitra said while addressing a party public meeting at Amta in Howrah.
The senior Congress leader also demanded why the West Bengal government is not arresting Sudipto Sen's wife and others involved in Saradha scam.
Mitra claimed that when he was in the Trinamool Congress he would always questions like the Saradha scam, rise in crime against women and deterioration in the law and order situation in the state but the Chief Minister would never reply to his questions or concern.
The meeting was also addressed by senior Congress leaders Pradip Bhattacharya, Manash Bhuniya and Kazi Abdul Rezzak.
