Son hacks mother to death in Pratapgarh

A 52-year-old woman was allegedly hacked to death by her son in Bhanso village of Baghraj area here, police said today.
Anaro Devi was allegedly hacked to death by her son Pintu Saroj yesterday after they both had an argument, Superintendent of Police, Akhilesh Kumar Chaurasia said.
The matter came to light when Pintu's younger brother saw him digging a grave inside the house to bury his mother, Chaurasia said.
An FIR has been lodged in this regard, police said, adding that efforts are on to nab the accused.
