The decision was taken in a Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal here today.
The Cabinet has also given its nod to other monetary benefits to the family of Ashok Kumar who was beaten to death allegedly by a youth in broad daylight on May 10.
After the incident, the family of Kumar had met the Chief Minister and were assured all possible support.
The Cabinet has also decided to bear the medical expenses of Kumar's wife, the official said adding that her treatment would be done at either or empanelled hospital as per DTC rule.
The 42-year-old DTC bus driver was beaten to death allegedly by a 22-year-old youth after the bus grazed his bike at Mundka area in West Delhi which had led to a massive protest by employees of the government-run agency.
