Sona Koyo Q1 net profit up 16% to Rs 4.14 crore

Auto component major Sona Koyo Steering Systems today reported a 15.96 percent increase in its consolidated net profit to Rs 4.14 crore for the first quarter ended June 30.
The company had a consolidated net profit of Rs 3.57 crore in the same period last fiscal, Sona Koyo Steering Systems said in a BSE filing.
Sona Koyo's total income from operations on consolidated basis was up 4.87 per cent during the quarter under review to Rs 374.67 crore as against Rs 357.26 crore in the same quarter, last year.
Shares of Sona Koyo today ended at Rs 59.20, down 11.31 per cent.
