Sonam and Shashidhar Reddy to play World Corporate Golf

Sonam Chugh and Shashidhar Reddy emerged champions at the 10th annual TAKE Solutions World Corporate Golf Challenge National Final here today.
Both Chugh and Reddy will now be participating as a corporate team from India at the World Championship of Corporate Golf at Portugal in July.
Kapil Dev and his teammate Deepak Gupta finished a few points behind the three teams who were tied first.
In a hotly contested final round, 26 golfers representing 13 corporate teams, all winners from three regional qualifiers held in Delhi & NCR, Mumbai & Pune and Bengaluru competed for the right to become India's entry to the World Finals against teams from around 30 different countries.

The Bengaluru team Ramesh Swiss Watch led by Sonam (29 points, h'cap 5) and Shashidhar (29 points, h'cap 4) emerged on top of the leader board with 58 points, edging out another Bengaluru team Garden City consisting David D'Souza, a scratch golfer (28 points) and Sagar Muthappa (30 points, h'cap 10) on basis of lower handicap.
