The 29-year-old actress, who is said to have contracted Swine flu here, tested positive for the virus in Rajkot, where she was shooting for her upcoming Salman Khan starrer 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo'.
She was then taken to Mumbai, where she is undergoing treatment.
"Sonam has been detected with swine fly but it is under control. She has been shifted to a hospital in Mumbai and she is showing signs of speedy recovery. Hopefully, she should be back at work soon. We thank all her fans and industry alike for their love and support," a statement from her spokesperson said.
