Sonia condemns Naxal attack on BSF personnel

Congress President Sonia Gandhi today condemned the Naxalite attack in Malkangiri district of Odisha in which three BSF personnel and a civilian were killed and said the guilty should be brought to book expeditiously.
Extending her condolences to families of martyred jawans, Gandhi said that such cowardly acts of violence could not be justified.
She expressed the hope that the authorities concerned will work expeditiously to bring the guilty to book.
Three BSF personnel and a civilian were today killed and six others injured when Naxalities ambushed a patrol of the paramilitary force and triggered a landmine blast in the jungles of Malkangiri district in Odisha.
