Soyabean oil moves up on scattered buying

Soyabean oil prices rose by Rs 50 per quintal on the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on scattered buying.
However, other edible and non-edible oils moved in a narrow range in thin trade and settled around previous levels.
Traders said scattered buying mainly led to rise in soyabean oil prices.
In the national capital, soyabean refined mill delivery (Indore) and soyabean degum (Kandla) oils rose by Rs 50 each to Rs 7,550 and Rs 7,300 per quintal respectively.
The following were today's quotations per quintal:
Oilseeds: Mustardseed 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut Seed 2,150-2,900.

Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) 1,120-1,340.
Edible oils: Groundnut Mill Delivery (Gujarat) 7,600, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin) 1,900-1,950, Mustard expeller (Dadri) 7,500, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) 1,290-1,370, Mustard Kachi Ghani (per tin) 1,375-1,475, Sunflower 6,300, Sesame Mill Delivery 11,600, Soybean Refined Mill Delivery (Indore) 7,550, Soyabean Degum (Kandla) 7,300, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) 5,600, Cottonseed Mill Delivery (Haryana) 6,300, Palmolein (RBD) Rs 6,750, Palmolein (Kandla) 6,400, Rice Bran (phy) 3,800 and Coconut (per tin) 1,900-1,950.

Non-edible oils: Linseed 7,650, Mahuwa 4,000, Castor 9,550-9,650, Neem 5,350-5,450, Rice Bran 3,150-3,250 and Palm Fatty 3,200-3,300.
Oilcakes: Groundnut Dehusk 800-850, Sesame 950-1,150, Mustard (New) 1,000-1,025, Mustard 1,200-1,210 and Cottonseed 1,075-1,175.
