While SP has nominated Gaurav Swaroop, son of the ex-Uttar Pradesh minister Chitranjan Swaroop whose death last year necessitated the by-election, BJP has fielded Kapil Deo.
District Magistrate Nikhil Chand Shukla, today said, 312 polling stations have been set upin the constituency where more than three lakh voters including 1,54,055 women would be eligible to exercise their franchise.
The last date for filing nomination is January 27, while its scrutiny will be taken up on January 28. The poll is scheduled for February 13 and the counting would be held on February 16.
