"During assembly elections, SP had announced that a commission will be constituted to probe into scams and corruption cases of previous BSP regime, but it had failed to fulfill its promise," BJP spokesman Vijay Bahadur Pathak said.
He said even after three years in rule, the present government had failed to identify those involved in corruption cases.
Pathak alleged that Backward Region Grant Fund was an example wherein crores of rupees were allegedly siphoned off during the BSP regime, but the SP government, which announced Economic Offences Wing inquiry, backtracked and got it done by the District Magistrates.
The spokesman demanded that the guilty should be identified and stern action should be taken against them.
