SP govt in UP is the best: Mulayam

Mulayam Singh Yadav today termed the Samajwadi Party government in Uttar Pradesh as the country's best and asked the partymen to propagate good works done by it.

"The state government is the best one in the country. You all should propagate good works done by it for all segments of the society. We should won maximum number of seats in Loksabha polls", Yadav said while addressing party workers here.

"With support of you all we have won Lucknow (formed government here). Now it's time to win New Delhi. It should be ensured in Loksabha polls that no one could form government at the Centre without SP and this could be done by winning maximum number of seats", he added.

Highlighting achievements of the state government, Yadav said that majority of promises made in the party manifesto had been fulfilled in over one and a-half-year time.

Alleging that Prime Minister had kept recommendations of Sachar committee with him without acting on it, Yadav said that no answer was given when he (PM) was asked by SP what he had done on the report.

"When we give Rs 10 thousand to muslim girls, opposition call it muslim appeasement. But the reality is that muslims are most uneducated and need support", he said.
