In a veiled attack on BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi and party's Uttar Pradesh in-charge Amit Shah, senior Samajwadi Party national general secretary, Ramgopal Yadav has said certain "divisive forces" are conspiring to divide the country on religious lines.
Addressing a public meeting last evening, Yadav said that electorates of the state should cleanse the divisive forces. They would not succeed in their designs and after Lok Sabha elections only third force would succeed in forming the government, he said.
The SP leader alleged that some forces from outside the state want to vitiate the atmosphere here.
