SP MLA lodges FIR against husband for attacking her

A Samajwadi Party MLA has lodged an FIR against her husband, alleging that he and some others attacked her and even opened fire, police said today.
SP MLA from Chandausi Laxmi Gautam lodged a complaint at Chandausi police station yesterday night, they said.
She has alleged that her husband Dilip Varshney and some others attacked her and even opened fire on her which she escaped, police said.
On the basis of the complaint, an FIR was lodged against Varshney, his brother Sarvesh, one Sunil and unidentified persons, they said.
Varshney in turn has lodged a cross FIR of assault and issuing threat against his wife, her driver Amar Singh, one Aseem Agarwal and unidentified persons, said police.
