SP never compromised on principles: Mulayam

Mulayam said victory and defeat were part of politics, but defeat opens the gates for victory

Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav today said his party has never compromised on principles as "ideology and ethics are bigger than power in politics".

Addressing a meeting of party's Prabuddh Sabha, Mulayam said victory and defeat were part of politics, but defeat opens the gates for victory.

He said that intellectuals have played an important role, right from independence upto taking the country forward. The society has benefited form of religious gurus, scientists, doctors and teachers.
