SP Pushkar Anand and DSP Nirmala Kumari transferred

A day after a woman Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Nirmala Kumari had charged the district police chief Pushkar Anand with sexually exploiting her by promising marriage, the state government today transferred both cops in the latest reshuffle in the state police department.
Anand, a 2009 batch IPS officer, has been shunted out from Kaimur and made the Commandant of Mountain Military Police (MMP) at Ara.
The 2005 batch IPS officer M. Sunil Kumar Naik will be the new Kaimur SP, an official notification by home department said.
Kumari, presently the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) at Bhabhua has been been removed and sent to Katihar as the DSP, Bihar Military Police (BMP)-7 and given additional charge as the additional commandant of the BMP-12 at Saharsa, it said.

Among other transfers, Ajay Kumar Verma (1985 batch), presently posted as the Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG)-cum-Joint Chief Vigilance Officer, Cooperative Bank, Patna has been transferred and made the Deputy Director of the Civil Defence, while the Inspector General of Police (IG), Railway, Pankaj Kumar Darad (1995 batch) has been transferred and made the IG, Provision.
Sudhanshu Kumar, presently the IG, Provision, has been shifted to the Home Guard and Fire Service in the same capacity, while Saurabh Kumar, who is the SP (Special Branch) goes to Vaishali as the SP in place of Suresh Prasad Chaudhary, who will be the new SP (Special Branch) at Patna.

Md. Shafiul Haque, presently the BMP-1 Commandant has been transferred and made the Principal-cum-Commandant of Constable Training School (CTS) at Nath Nagar, Bhagalpur with additional charge of CTS, Simultalla in Jamui district.

Sanjay Kumar, who is the principal-cum-commandant of CTS, Nath Nagar with additional charge of CTS, Simultalla has been transferred to the state capital as the SP(D), CID, while Sudhir Kumar Porika, who has been awaiting posting, has been made the SP (East), Patna.
Rajiv Mishra, also awaiting posting, has been made the SP (West), Patna, while Himanshu Shankar Trivedi, another IPS officer on wait list, has been posted to Darbhanga as the SP (Town), while Ashish Bharti, who, too, has been awaiting posting, has been made the BMP-1 Commandant at Patna with additional charge of BMP-5.

Aditya Kumar, a 2011 batch IPS officer, awaiting posting, has been made the SP(Town) at Bhagalpur.
Besides Kumari, 12 other DSP-rank police officials have been transferred in latest reshuffle.
