The court of S N Rajguru had earlier also refused bail to the self-styled godman's adopted son Satyam Roul who is also cooling his heels behind the bars in Choudwar jail since last month.
After perusing the case diaries submitted by the crime branch police, the designated court refused to grant Santosh bail at this stage when the prosecution objected saying investigations into the allegations against the fake godman were still continuing.
Santosh was arrested by the state crime branch police on August 8 who booked him under sections 120-B, 420, 467, 341, 379 and 506 of IPC along with section 3 of SC and ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, section 25 of Arms Act and section 7 of Religious Institutions (Prevention of Misuse) Act.
