Special prayers for quake victims by Nepali Baptist Church

In solidarity with the victims of massive earthquake in Nepal, the Nepali Baptist Church Kohima held special prayer service and candle memorial within the church premises in Midland here.
The service led by Associate Pastor Surjay Sapkota prayed for the souls of earthquake victims, bereaved family, retrieval of bodies under the debris and speedy reach of relief materials to the needy.
The congregation also prayed for the doctors and paramedics and all those engaged in relief works and Government of Nepal.
Prayers were also made for the victims of earthquake in India.
Hundreds of Nepali believers and well-wishers in the state capital joined the service which culminated with lighting of candles last night.
