At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for December edged up by Rs 2, or 0.36 per cent, to Rs 555 per 10 kg in a business turnover of 178 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in January was trading higher by Rs 1.70, or 0.31 per cent, to Rs 554.50 per 10 kg in 11 lots.
Analysts said, participants created fresh positions after demand pick-up in the spot market against tight stocks position on restricted supplies from producing belts, which mainly attributed the rise in crude palm oil prices at futures trade.
