The cloudburst took place this evening that led to over flowing of many streams passing through the district, official sources said.
Many houses have been inundated due to the floods but there are no reports of any loss of life so far, the sources said.
Roads of Kargil town and 434-km strategic Srinagar-LEH highway have been blocked, they said.
