Director Farah Khan says her superstar friend Shah Rukh Khan, who is producing her next on girl power, was supposed to choose the cast but the process has got delayed as the actor is busy with Imtiaz Ali's movie.
The movie requires two young actresses.
"Shah Rukh Khan is producing the film. He was supposed to do casting for me but he is in Prague shooting for his film (referring to Imtiaz Ali's next). So, let's see now," Farah told PTI.
"The film will have known faces. We will have two young heroines, we are yet to zero-in on anyone yet. We will announce the cast before we go on floors," she said.
Farah did not specify any time frame when the film will go on floors.
Meanwhile, there is a speculation that Farah may helm a biopic on tennis star Sania and it will have Parineeti Chopra playing the lead role.
Notably, during an event earlier, Sania had said she would love to see Parineeti playing her onscreen in a film.
"It is all Chinese whispers. Sania was asked if a biopic is made on her who would she like to play her in a film, she gave some name of an actress. Considering I am her best friend, people expect me to direct the film. As of now, she is busy in her US Open game," Farah said.
When asked if she actually has plan to make a film on the tennis star, Farah sais, "She has to send me her book (Sania's autobiography). I am waiting for her to send me the book.
