Though there were instances of middle-men's intervention in securing jobs, SSC had put an end to it, following the arrest of a few persons by CBI some time ago, commission Chairman A Bhattacharya said.
Speaking to reporters here on the sidelines of the SSC Regional Directors' Conference, he said the measures had made the selection process more transparent.
Efforts were also taken to cut down human error by improving technological intervention, starting from sorting of applications, he said.
The Delhi-based SSC is responsible for recruitment of Group C
(non-technical) & Group B (non-gazetted- both technical & non-technical) posts.
