SSCB beat COA 2-0 in men's hockey nationals

Services Sports Control Board (SSCB) beat Chandigarh Olympic Association (COA) 2-0 to register yet another victory in Pool A at the fourth Hockey India Senior Men National Championship 2014 (Division A) at Major Dhyan Chand Hockey Stadium, here today.
Md Faheem Khan and Ved Prakhash Bhatt scored a goal each in the 47th and the 50th minute to register the glorious win for SSCB.,
In another match, Punjab trounced Manipur 11-1.
For Punjab, Harpreet Singh (26th, 35th, 60th), Ajay Kumar (13th, 57th), Parvinder Singh (14th, 34th), Prabhdeep Singh (33rd, 53rd), Varun Kumar (46th) and Harjit Singh (57th) were the goal scorers, while Manipur's lone goal came from the sticks of Jayenta Meiti K in the ninth minute.
