Two stamp vendors were
allegedly robbed by some unidentified men in a car at LG crossing here today.
Pramod and Lekraj were on a bike when a car overtook and forced them to stop this morning, police said.
Men in the car snatched a bag from the vendors in which they claimed that Rs 3 lakh cash and stamp papers worth Rs 3 lakh were kept.
Agitated over the incident, some stamp vendors held protest and blocked traffic for an hour demanding arrest of the robbers.
Later, senior officers reached the spot and cleared the traffic, police said.
A case has been registered.
