City based Staples.com today launched its Ask, Seek, Knock concept, offering an opportunity to people to be part of their new entity.
The idea of roping in people in the new venture came up while catering to the day-to-day needs of residents online and delivering it to their doorsteps, ASK Era Infra chief executive Rajesh Keerthi said, launching it at the Sri Krishna College of Technology here
The new concept, which is a franchise business wherein there is assured returns, was based on the success of the online grocery business, he said.
"We have around 20 lakh population in Coimbatore and there are roughly four lakh households. We took a risk to cater to every household. We introduced ASK in various leading apartments eight months ago which eliminates the middleman and the products or produce come from manufacturer to customer," he said.
There are mainly four categories namely home delivery, touch and feel experience shopping, services, hospitality and entertainment, he said.
All these services are given to people by 'Unit CEOs,' by which an opportunity is given to people to take up leadership and be a part of the community to serve people and earn money as the company has also partnered with various vendors that helps them build their business, he said.
"Unit CEOs procure orders and we supply to the households," he added.
