Francis Lawrence's science-fiction "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2" and J J Abrams' epic-space opera "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" are the most anticipated upcoming releases.
According to a survey by Piedmont Media Research, which polled 3,000 people, "Hunger Games" and "Star Wars" emerged as the most popular upcoming films, reported Variety.
On a scale of zero to 1,000, the fourth and final "Hunger Games" had a rating of 514, beating last summer's "Avengers: Age of Ultron", which had a score of 509.
The "Star Wars" sequel posted a rating of 495, the third best figure since Piedmont began its surveys.
It also had the best score among males with 553 rating while females' interest level for the film was 383.
Other films that resonated strongly with audiences were "Hotel Transylvania 2" with 313 and Matt Damon-Ridley Scott's sci-fi adventure, "The Martian" with 255 rating.
James Bond film "Spectre" had 282 rating, better than its last instalment, "Skyfall", which had 231.
On the lower end, fantasy epic "Pan" scored 205, biopic "Steve Jobs" logged 162, while Bradley Cooper kitchen dramedy "Burnt" clocked in 144.
"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2" will release on November 20, while "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is set to hit theatres on December 18.
