Prominent technopreneurs and investors from across the Asia Pacific region will gather in India next week to brainstorm on the innovation hotspots and start-up ecosystem.

Start-up Capitals 2015 will be held in New Delhi on October 27, followed by one in Bengaluru on October 29.

The conferences are a thought-leadership brainstorming on the innovation hotspots and start-up ecosystem of cities that are making a mark on the world map, said the Singapore-based organisers, Start-up Capitals today.

The conferences will bring together stakeholders in a start-up ecosystem, including entrepreneurs, business leaders, innovators, researchers and educational specialists, government leaders and venture capitalists, under one roof who champion innovation and who are passionate about taking their innovation ecosystem to the next level, it said.

Both the conferences will feature panel sessions on local start-up ecosystems and what opportunities and challenges they face. International speakers will bring fresh and global perspectives to the discussions.

They will be joined by Indian start-ups to share experiences with up coming start-ups from incubators to venture capitalists.

Speakers includes Neal Cross, the Chief Innovation Officer of Singapore's DBS Bank, Mahesh Murthy, entrepreneur, marketer, and Founding Partner, SeedFund, Shireen Bhan, anchor & author Young Turks, Osama Manzar, Founder, Digital Empowerment Foundation, Ajay Batra, evangelist and Founder, Lutyen's start-ups; and Puneet Pushkarna, President, TiE, Singapore.

The same conferences will also be held in Mumbai, Kolkata and Hyderbad next March, said Start-up Capitals co-founder Vishwesh Iyer.
