The State Administrative Tribunal had started functioning from February 28, 2015 and presently two Division Benches were functioning.
A Spokesman of the Administrative Tribunal said here today that as many as 20,420 cases had been filed as on December 31, 2016 which included 14,032 fresh cases and 6388 were transferred from HP High Court.
He said 141 Contempt Petitions, 12 Review Petitions, nine Ex.Pet and 3883 miscellaneous applications were also disposed of and the Tribunal has decided to take up the oldest matters (pre 2009) on priority basis by the Division Benches on every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday to clear the pendency.
