State advisory committee reconstituted

Punjab government today said it has notified the reconstituted state advisory committee for transport, legal and legislature affairs and employment generation and training department.
Disclosing this here, an official spokesman said the committee shall advise in framing and executing policies of the department for the year 2015-16.
Minister for Transport, Legal and Legislature Affairs and Employment Generation and Training Ajit Singh Kohar will be Chairman of the committee, whereas Secretary Elections, Principal Secretary Transport, Secretary Legal and Legislature affairs, Secretary Employment Generation and the heads of the concerned departments would be official member of this committee.
He said the committee would have 10 non-official members which included Jeet Mohinder Singh Sidhu, Ranjit Singh Dhillon, Darshan Singh Shivalik, R S Kaler and Manpreet Singh Iyalli, all SAD MLAs and Parneet Kaur, Kewal Singh Dhillon , Harchand Kaur, all Congress MLAs, whereas Seema Kumari from Bhartiya Janta Party and Balwinder Singh Bains(Independent).
