"You will be happy to know that the GDP of West Bengal has more than doubled from nearly Rs 4.61 lakh crore in 2010-11 to Rs 9.20 lakh crore in 2015-16," the Chief Minister wrote in a Facebook post.
"This quantum jump has been possible, partly due to massive increase in plan expenditure and partly due to huge creation of permanent assets in the state through increased capital expenditure," Banerjee wrote.
Banerjee further posted that the aim was to take the state to the top position and her entire team was dedicated towards it.
"Our commitment is to take Bengal to the No.1 position in the country and my entire "Paschimbanga Paribar" is fully dedicated to this task," she wrote.
