Steady conditions prevail in pulses market

Steady conditions prevailed at the wholesale pulses market in the national capital today as prices moved in a narrow range on alternate bouts of trading and settled at previous levels.

Traders said, adequate stocks position against sporadic demand, mainly kept pulses prices unaltered.

Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal): urad Rs 4,100-5,300, urad Chilka (local) Rs 5,200-5,300, urad best Rs 5,300-5,800, Dhoya Rs 5,750-5,950, Moong Rs 5,000-5,500, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 5,600-5,800, Moong Dhoya local Rs 6,200-6,700 and best quality Rs 6,700-6,900.

Masoor small Rs 3,850-4,150, bold Rs 3,900-4,200, Dal Masoor local Rs 4,500-4,900, best quality Rs 4,600-5,000, Malka local Rs 4,700-5,000, best Rs 4,800-5,100, Moth Rs 3,850-4,250, Arhar Rs 3,900 Dal Arhar Dara Rs 5,400-7,300.
