Stepfather beats son to death

A 5-year-old child was allegedly beaten to death by his stepfather while his mother was beaten to blue at Jasrana village in Sadar Police station area in the district, police said.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Yashpal Khatana said Ravidra of village Jasrana, in an inebriated condition, first beat his wife Premlata and his stepson Piyush with stick, who later died.
Khatana said a case of murder has been registered on the complaint of Premlata, adding the body has been sent for post mortem.
A team has been constituted to nab the culprit, who is on the run after the incident, he said.
