Steps afoot for dignified return of Kashmiri Pandits: J-K Min

Calling Kashmir "incomplete" without Kashmiri Pandits, the state government today said that steps were afoot for dignified return of the community to the Valley.
"Kashmir is incomplete without Kashmiri Pandits and efforts are afoot for their return with honour and dignity," state Minister for Agriculture Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura said while speaking at a cultural programme organised by Pir Panchal Organisation of Radio Sharda 90.4 FM.
Besides, MLC Surinder Mohan Ambardar, intellectuals, artists and prominent citizens from the community were also present on the occasion.
The minister appreciated the management of Radio Sharda in promoting the Kashmiri language and culture.
"This endeavour Radio Sharda can play a pivotal role in promotion of the Kashmiri language and culture," he said.
Later, Hanjura distributed mementos among children who participated in the cultural programme.
Earlier, President of Pir Panchal Organisation of Radio Sharda Ramesh Hangloo said that the radio broadcasts in 63 countries across the world.
