After trying out his hand on the small screen with TV movie 'Behind the Candelabra' and historical miniseries 'The Knick', Soderbergh will now direct a stage play, which follows a youngster who survives a deadly shooting at her high school, reported Ace Showbiz.
The 'Magic Mike' helmer's project is expected to play at New York's The Public Theater and will center on a school shooting survivor played by 'Carrie' actress Chloe Moretz.
For this play, Soderbergh has also teamed up with Scott Z Burns, who previously worked with the director in his last feature film 'Side Effects' released last year.
