The 'Roar' singer and her boyfriend, Mayer, were honoured by 65-year-old Nicks, who played his hit 'Landslide' especially for them at their show in Las Vegas, reported Contactmusic.
"John here. Katy can't write because she is getting over Stevie Nicks dedicating Landslide to us at the Fleetwood Mac concert. Unforgettable," Mayer posted through Perry's account.
"While I am at it I have a couple things I'd like to get off my... She's motioning for the phone back. Gotta go!! -JM (sic)," he added on the Twitter.
The respect is mutual, as Nicks has previously said she could relate to Perry's song 'The One That Got Away'.
