"The CD is with us and it will be produced at the right place (authority)," BJP leader and in-charge of party affairs in Uttarakhand Shyam Jaju said at a party function here.
The Harish Rawat-led Congress government in the state came under scanner last month after a CD surfaced which purportedly showed the CM's personal secretary Mohammed Shahid negotiating a bribery deal with a middleman for liquor licences. Shahid was then removed from his post.
Jaju said the state government should accept the BJP's demand for a CBI probe into the incident as the allegation was on his personal secretary which is an appropriate case for investigation by the Central agency.
