Talking to newsmen here on his maiden visit after his re-appointment as state party chief, Karimpuri, also a Rajya Sabha member, said he will take along all state leaders and workers of party for executing his topmost priority.
Claiming the party was fully united in state, Karimpuri maintained that the previous state executive was doing its job with full responsibility in Punjab.
"However, if required, there can be a change in the present state executive," he said.
On BSP's role in coming Municipal Corporation/Municipal Committees elections, Karimpuri said that he had convened a meeting of state leaders and party's district in-charges at the party office in Jalandhar on September 16 for discussing strategy about these polls as well as for addressing other burning issues.
Karimpuri also expressed his gratitude to BSP supremo Mayawati for again handing over the reins of state unit to him.
