On a Petition filed by 'Traffic' Ramaswamy, seeking to remove all encroachments in the area, Zonal officer of the Corporation of Chennai had filed a compliance report before the First Bench, comprising Chief Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul and Justice Pushpa Sathyanarayana stating that encroachments in NSC Bose Road have been removed with the help of police and submitted the Photographs.
The affidavit stated that review applications filed by some vendors Association are pending for adjudication.
The counter further said the Hawkers are mere encroachers and action is being taken to remove them at regular intervals.
The bench which perused the affidavit directed that the review application be listed on December 14, which will be dealt on merits and posted the matter for further hearing to that date.
