Strike called b y JAC

A 24-hour general strike called by the join action committee Patsoi area and various civil society organizations of the state paralysed normal life today.
JAC protested against the brutal killing of two labourers by the Kuki militants in Senapati district three days ago.
The 'general strike' began from midnight today.
Security measures have been tightened in the state in view of the strike.
