India accounts for around 30 per cent of global revenues of the Singapore-based firm and in 2013, its revenue from the country was at Rs 500 crore.
In 2012, Strontium had posted global revenues of about USD 300 million.
"India is an important market for us and we expect to clock revenues of Rs 750 crore from the region by 2015," Strontium Technology President and CEO Vivian Singh told reporters here.
In order to achieve the target, the firm is looking at expanding its retail presence across the country, he added.
Besides, its has also started working with large retail chains like Chroma.
"We will spend about USD 500,000 from marketing and promotion activities in India. Our global marketing and promotion budget is about USD 2-1.2 million," Singh said.
Strontium today launched a range of products for the Indian market including microSD cards, which the firm promises to enable users to capture and watch 4K2K resolution videos and ultra HD pictures and videos.
Nitro Plus UHS-1 Class 3 card provides a performance of atleast 60 MB/second read and 40 MB/second write, enough bandwith to allow users to capture cinema quality full HD (1080 pixels), ultra HD (2160p), $k2K and 3D videos, Singh said.
Nitro Plus microSD 3-in-1 is priced at Rs 1,449, Rs 2,688 and Rs 5,379 for the 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB variants, respectively.
The Nitro Plus SD card is available in four capacities of 16 GB, 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB for Rs 1,449, Rs 2,688, Rs 5,379 and Rs 9,499, respectively.
