Student dead under suspicious circumstances

One Shekhar Singh (12), a class IV student of the Modern Public school, was found dead in the school premises under suspicious circumstances last evening, hours after his mother had visited him, the police said.

The boy was a hostelite.

Alleging negligence by the school management in taking proper care of the boy, his family mebers lodged an FIR against the school director Pappu Jaiswal and his father Kashi Prasad Jaiswal, the police said.

Initially, the police nabbed the director. His father was later booked.
