The incident took place at the Modern City Montessori school yesterday.
Acting on her father's complaint that his daughter Neetu Chauhan could not have committed suicide but was pushed, police has registered a case against unknown persons, SP Deoria Rajiv Malhotra said.
The 15-year-old had reportedly gone to the toilet on the third floor of the school. She was taken to a local hospital, which referred her to Gorakhpur but succumbed to her injuries on the way, the official said.
Police is investigating the case for further details.
