Student stabbed to death

A 24-year-old student was stabbed to death by an unknown assailant, police said today.
Neeraj Yadav, a third year student of Computer Science in the DAV Engineering College, Kanina in Mahendergarh district, about 35 km from Rewari, was stabbed to death by an unknown assailant last night.
His body was found lying near a gate of the college this morning.
The police have registered a murder case on a complaint filed by Rattan Lal, uncle of the deceased and a resident of Riwasa village, near Mahendergarh.
The post mortem examination was conducted by a board of three doctors at a civil hospital here.
Police said they are probing the matter.
