Students evacuated in 5 edu institutions after bomb hoax

Students of five educational institutions, including a women's college in Anna Nagar, were evacuated following an anonymous call about bombs being planted there, police said.
The caller rang up police on mobile and said bombs been planted in the schools and college in Anna Nagar.
Police rushed to the institutions with sniffer dogs and conducted a two-hour search after evacuating all students but found nothing, they said.
While one school asked students to go home, the other institutes resumed functioning after the search, police said, adding that efforts were on to trace the caller.
