Suchitra Sen stable

The health of ailing actress of
yesteryears Suchitra Sen, who was hospitalised last week following a respiratory tract infection, remained stable, the doctors attending on her said today.
"Mrs Suchitra Sen's medical condition continues to remain stable. Her vital parameters are satisfactory. She is under continuous monitoring to observe her heart rate, blood pressure and oxygen saturation," according to a medical bulletin issued by Belle Vue Clinic.
It said that the 82-year-old's condition was also under review by a cardiologist.
She has been eating her normal prescribed diet at the hospital.
Sen, who has kept herself away from the public eye for the last three decades, starred in memorable Hindi and Bengali films like 'Devdas' and 'Aandhi', 'Saat Paake Bandha', 'Agnipariksha', 'Saptopadi' and 'Deep Jele Jai'.
